What is Superintendent's Roundtable (SR)?
Twenty-five+ years ago, a group of community members led by Dr. William Watkins came together to discuss how they could help Ed! reach its goal of providing an excellent education for all students, and the Superintendent’s Roundtable Membership was born.
Why is being an SR Member so Important?
Growing from a group of twenty to over three hundred members, Ed!'s Superintendent’s Roundtable Members play a critical role in ensuring the annual Ed! Grant to ESUSD is fulfilled. Ed!'s Superintendent’s Roundtable Members are community members, business leaders, and parents who give to Ed annually to ensure Every Student Wins in the El Segundo Unified School District.

Honor Roll: $1,700-$2,999
Dean's List: $3,000-$4,999
Valedictorian: $5,000+
Starting a recurring donation schedule of at least $142/month or $425/quarter over a twelve-month period counts! As do matches from your employer - please ask your HR department if your company will match your donation.
What are the Perks of Being an SR Member?
The SR Mixer: Every August, right before the school year starts, all members are invited to mingle with the Superintendent and his top staff at an amazing El Segundo location. SR Members are hosted by local businesses who throw open their, often very private, doors for a lovely evening of food and drinks. At this exclusive event, SR Members are the first to hear the Superintendent’s vision for the coming school year.
The State of the Schools Event: Every spring, the amazing executive team of the El Segundo Unified School District share how the year is going, give a peek into the next school year, and share the special things going on in the district.
The Bubble Reception at the Ed! Gala: For those SR Members attending the Gala, we invite them to come early to the event where they get a first glimpse of the beautiful set-up at Chevron Park while enjoying some sparkling wine. They will also be first to enjoy the delicious and vast amount of tastes on offer at this magical event.
Pop-Up Perks: These fun treats occur throughout the year and are things like: gifts, free weeks of summer camp, educational and interesting seminars for students and parents. We are always looking for ways to show our SR Members our appreciation.
